It’s been a busy and exciting month at Fanatic! From launching the new Benihana site to visiting clients in Denver and welcoming two new starters, there’s been plenty happening across the studio. We’ve also enjoyed some good old-fashioned fun – catching a rugby match, playing board games, and getting outdoors for lunchtime walks. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.
Studio trip: Bristol Bears edition
With our new USA-based Client Director Dan over from Chicago for a few weeks, and Christina (from Oregon), Harry (who grew up in Florida), and Mia (from New Zealand and already a rugby fan) now full-time in our Bristol studio, we felt it was time to establish that rugby is the most interesting sport played in a stadium…
And what better chance than a big derby game between Bristol Bears and Exeter Chiefs taking place just 100m from our studio here in Ashton Gate? We took the opportunity for a group of us to watch the game and compare it to the NFL!
It did indeed prove to be interesting, as it was a weirdly high-scoring game, with a record set for the fastest four tries scored in the Premiership - at around 14 minutes.
Studio to Stateside
Will and Ian were delighted to visit The One Group’s head office in Denver to present to their board on how the new websites designed by Fanatic are improving user experience, conversions, and accessibility. The client had fallen in love with the designs, but for us, the real success was in demonstrating how design strategy drives meaningful business results - boosting site traffic, engagement, and overall performance.
