This month we’ve launched a new website and rebrand for one of
our long-standing clients, created our first TikTok strategy and visited
one of our newest clients, West Country Water Park.
Annie, Alex and Amy visited our client’s site at West Country Water Park this month, in order to take a tour around the park, speak to the team there and get lots of ideas for our content, social and email strategies. We saw some lifeguard training in progress, and some swimmers and paddleboarders making the most of the lake.
It was amazing to see how far the park has progressed already, and how many more exciting things are still to come. We’ll definitely be back there at some point with the whole team for a Fanatic social!
Over the past 6 months we’ve been working to develop Heat’s existing branding that we created for them six years ago. Giving each recruitment division its own look and feel, whilst all still existing within the Heat core brand was an integral part of this brief.
We developed a suite of colours and patterns that would each be assigned to a division, giving each one its own visual identity whilst still feeling like a cohesive set. Heat’s core branding was also given its own pattern using the existing brand colours and elements of all the divisions.
The website design reflects this new branding, with the colours and graphics on each page changing dynamically depending on which page you are on. We had to be mindful that the changing of these colours and graphics wasn’t jarring to the user as you switch between pages. The website design utilises the bright colours to reflect Heat’s core value of fun, whilst the navy colour reflects the professionalism and integrity of the business.
This was a really exciting project, particularly as Heat are a long term client of ours and we are really proud of the new branding and website.
The Heat rebrand build was a great example of all the departments coming together to achieve the project goal.
One key goal from the design was to provide themed branding for each division of Heat Recruitment (Engineering, Legal, HR, etc.) There are a number of bespoke pieces throughout the site that require custom functionality to ensure that the content and the branding are dynamic.
A lot of work went into ensuring that the user is viewing relevant material to the division, and that the people managing the site content can easily assign different divisions to different content.
As part of the content and social media strategy for our client West Country Water Park, we proposed creating a TikTok account to showcase behind-the-scenes insights, park updates, activity previews and general fun content.
As our first TikTok campaign, it’s been a really fun project to be involved in as we discover what types of content people are interested in and watch our following and engagement grow steadily day by day. Give us a follow – @westcountrywaterpark!
Alongside our regular work with our existing clients, we’ve recently had a few exciting new client wins which will expand our marketing workload considerably. As a result, we’ll be taking on a Digital Marketing Exec soon to get involved in various content and social media projects. Keep an eye out for future Scrapbooks to meet them!

Performance Max is Google’s latest goal-based campaign type that allows advertisers to access all of their Google Ads inventory from a single campaign. It’s designed to complement keyword-based Search campaigns to help advertisers find more converting customers across all of Google’s channels like YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail, and Maps.
To help advertisers ensure their Performance Max campaigns are set up correctly, Google has launched diagnostic insights on the Insights and Overview page. The insights are aimed to help ensure that your ads don’t violate ad policies and that no issues are making it hard to measure conversions, causing low engagement or disapproved ads.
