November has been a month of fresh starts, exciting launches, and team milestones at Fanatic! We introduced our brand-new website, welcomed new team members, and continued inspiring collaborations with City of Bristol College. From exhibiting at the Great British Business Show to launching another stunning venue website for Searcys, it’s been a busy month packed with creativity and achievements.
We were thrilled to exhibit at the 50th Great British Business Show at ExCeL London on the 13th and 14th of November. Representing the team, Ian, Will, Sam C, and Sam B attended the event. Our stand showcased the importance of the customer journey, featuring a bespoke pack of cards illustrating the different stages of various buying journeys. It was a busy couple of days, but the team thoroughly enjoyed connecting with new contacts from a wide range of industries.
The Development team are always trying to streamline their local development environments, and as technical stacks and project requirements change the landscape forever changes.
Laravel Herd is a lightweight local development environment that the Development team have been using since its release in 2023. Herd allows for a modern, performant and easy to setup local web server, database server and PHP environment, allowing the team to easily build WordPress websites and Laravel applications on their machines before needing to deploy them on remote staging or production servers.
This allows the Development team to concentrate on building what matters for our clients – well designed, well built & high performing websites, custom systems and web applications.
