As we ease into the new year, January at Fanatic has been a mix of fresh ideas, team bonding, and exciting explorations. From hosting our second Board Games evening and monthly lunchtime walks to diving into AI workflows and improving internal processes, it’s been a productive and collaborative month. We also said a fond farewell to one of our team members and enjoyed some inspiring out-of-office moments. Here’s what we’ve been up to!
To expand his knowledge base and work on a wider variety of projects within the development team, James, our web developer, has started learning the Laravel framework. Unlike the types of websites he typically works on, Laravel enables him to build and manage sites with deeper functionality, making it applicable to a broader range of industries.
He’s enjoying the challenge of learning something new. As a long-time WordPress developer, working with Laravel has been a refreshing change, and he hopes to apply his new skills to a project in the near future.
