June 2025

May has been full of fresh faces, shared lunches and a good dose of inspiration. We’ve welcomed two new SEO Execs to the Digital team, made the most of the sunshine with lunchtime walks and taken time to celebrate World Culture Day (with a suitably international spread). There’s also been learning and insight, from AI-powered dev talks and D&AD design sessions to prepping our US clients for a busy summer season.

Helping our US clients prep for the summer season

In the Digital team, we’ve been busy supporting our US clients as they gear up for key seasonal moments across May, June, and July – think graduations, Father’s Day, Fourth of July and the start of summer.

We typically start planning campaigns early, but activity ramps up around May when campaign concepts, landing pages and paid strategies go into full swing. Alongside performance campaigns, we’ve also been refining on-site content to capture seasonal search intent, helping ensure the right messages land at the right time.

To show this in action, Matt prompted Cursor to create and modify elements of a basic WordPress site he had built, with the aim of demonstrating how web development could become more accessible to those with less experience. In reality, it did the opposite. Cursor made a series of changes that broke the site entirely. Even after asking the AI to fix the problem it had caused, the session quickly turned into a loop of trial and error, proving that while these tools can be helpful, they still rely on skilled developers to step in when things go off track.
